It is produced using an ancient recipe made of herbs, which has been passed down from one generation to another since 1868.
According to ancient tradition, Italian friars produced an herbal elixir from a secret recipe. It’s still made using the same recipe made popular by Salvatore Averna in Caltanissetta in 1868.

"Appearance: Deep brown with red-golden hues. Nose: Opening citrus notes mixed with scents of Mediterranean herbs such as myrtle, juniper, rosemary, sage and aromatic resins. Palate Orange hints balanced with liquorice and Mediterranean herbs. Velvety and rounded texture. Finish Softly bitter and smooth. "
